No need to explain...I am the only Guy in the house. The rest are my sweet sweet girls; from Jessica, Destiny, Daisy, all computers (yes they are girls too!), as well as my Guitars and Amp! And I love it. I came from nothing and ended up happy. Go figure, little ol' me, having so much with so little. And yes, what I call a lot may seem like pocket change to some, but to me, I take pride in it. This is what my life revolves around. Not money, not looking down my nose at people and judging them, not doing drugs, not being a criminal, not having children that I can support, not being a low-life with no ambition, not off ruining my credit, not wishing for things to fall in my lap...none of that. It revolves around me being happy and making use of my talents.

The big day!
I am getting married in about an hour and am so excited. Many people have tried to prevent this and shove their "righteous" nose in my business when I have not warranted any invitations. This is my life, I will do with it what I please. I am far from an arrogant person, I am far from a bad person, But I am however more complete than ever now. I've never done anything to make me happier than what is about to take place. So if making myself happy, fulfilling something I believe, or doing the right thing is wrong...then I'll be content to be happily wrong!
And for the people whom support and know the true me, the real me, and all of me; Thank you! You know who you people are. I appreciate you more than you could ever know. I will be forever grateful knowing I have the support and wholehearted love of you. Love you all,
Warm regards; with a slight bitter note,
Bryan L. Dishmon

Award
Hey everyone. Last night at RCC there was an awards show held for several recipients of numerous awards. I watched many great people that I have gotten to know around the college go up and receive awards for various achievements. I just so happened to receive the 2009 Associate in Fine Arts Outstanding Student Award and I am very grateful. Thank you to those who kept me in mind for this award.
Also, I haven't been around on here lately, but I am currently gathering idea's for my latest project entitled, Kränkheit von mir. I am not going to be explaining this one in depth, as it is something that is long overdue for me. It is a series, though I do NOT like to call artworks a series. This is to be thought of as a visual CD if you will. A CD has a title and track titles, as will this work. I will be working on these pieces for a while off and on and will keep you all posted. Thanks for stopping by, Bryan.

My Computer Build
This is my newest computer build. I have been working on it for a while now, but it has finally took shape, though the pics above are not of the final product (only one case fan, no fan speed controller, and the d-link Ethernet port isn't in it anymore). This is a Dell Dimension 4100 computer case that has been chopped all to hell, and a sheet of clear low moisture acrylic as the removable top with a 120mm case fan mounted to the acrylic as the exhaust for the chip set. I have modified the case so much that I can't even remember what all has been done to it. Now here is the parts list:
-Rosewill RFA-120-BL 120mm 4 Blue LEDs LED Case Fan
-OCZ OCZTFRZTC Freeze Extreme Thermal Conductivity Compound
-SAMSUNG 22X DVD Burner Black SATA Model SH-S223F
-OCZ StealthXStream OCZ500SXS 500W ATX12V / EPS12V Active PFC Power Supply
- OCZ Platinum 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model OCZ2N10662GK
-BIOSTAR TForce TF8200 A2+ AM2+/AM2 NVIDIA GeForce 8200 HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard
-AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+ Brisbane 2.7GHz Socket AM2 65W Dual-Core Processor Model ADO5200DOBOX
-Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD5000AAKS 500GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive
-Sunbeam RHK-BA Rheobus 5.25" Bay 4 Channel 20W Fan Controller Panel (Black)
-Rosewill RFA-120-K 120mm Case Fan
-Acer H213H bmid 1900 x 1080p Black 21.5" 5ms HDMI Widescreen 16:9 LCD Monitor
This build has been fun and I hope to get it up and running in a few days. I have got all the parts I need now thanks to Newegg.com and Christmas! I will probably overclock the processor just a tad (maybe....umm maybe not). Will post more pics on here after all is complete. See you soon.

Unfinished Christmas Birdhouse
This is one of the latest "projects" I have been working on. This is a handmade two-story birdhouse that I have been making for a Christmas present for someone. When finished it will have acrylic windows (two per story), architectural shingles (hand cut), the roof will be hinged and mounted to the top, it will have a removable second story floor, deck railings, shutters, and finally... some paint. I will post the finished pictures on here in a few days. Thanks for looking.

Be Back Soon!!!
Hi everyone in the art world. Hope all is well. I have been working on projects logo's mainly so I haven't got to post in a while, but will be back on here shortly. In the mean time subscribe to my blog to receive updates so that when I get some stuff finished you will be notified. Also my favorite band (Staind) has released their new CD titled "The Illusion of Progress" it is amazing. Everyone should check it out. So.... Thanks for checking out my blog and come back soon.
Quote for the day "non-voters can't bitch about what happens to the world of politics...right, but should the voters get to bitch if they voted in favor of the corruption?" -just one to think about.

BoogyWorm
This is the other half of my crazy dogs. Her name is many different names but is mainly Daisy, she is a miniature Dachshund. This picture is from when she did something bad and told on herself. I used photoshop to change the colors, but nothing major.

Chinqua Penn Logo
This is one of many logo's I made for my computer art class / Chinqua Penn Plantation logo competition. Chinqua Penn actually chose to use this one for their merchandise. I don't exactly know what all they will use it for yet. But we'll see.

Spring is here

These Caterpillars are taking over this tree in my yard. There are thousands in this one tree. I thought they would make for a good picture.

Sitting Bear
I took this picture at Cherokee, N.C. a few months ago and thought it was great. The bear just sat there the whole time waiting for food.

Destiny
This is one of my two retarded dogs. Her name is Destiny and she is a Toy Poodle. I just changed the hue to purple in this pic. When I gave her a haircut the other day I left her a mustache, it was hilarious. She looked like Mario from the Mario Bros.

Abstract Head Sculpture

This is a clay sculpture that I've been working on for a couple of days. When it dries a little bit more I can pull out the armature, fire it, and then plug the hole in his head.

New Things To Come
Hi everyone. It's been awhile since I've posted any new art pics on here but they're on their way. I will be finishing up a mixed media project that I've been working on for a few months off and on, very soon. I also have yet another shocking political piece that I think is really unique. I have several idea's for up and coming art projects but I just have to find the time to get them done so I can get them out of my head. So keep checking in and thanks for looking at my work.

Untitled
This is a drawing of two of my cousins that I did around Christmas of '07. I don't really get around to doing too many photo realistic works, so it can be a nice change of pace.

Study of a Mother
This is a wire drawing of a mother bird of no particular breed, encouraging her young to come out from the grasp of her wing. This project symbolizes exporing the unexplored.

Old Master COPY
As you have probably seen this painting before, this is my copy of a Van Gogh painting. I did a greyscale copy and then I painted this color study. It was for an art project that required copying an Old Master painting.

Metal Sculpture
This sculpture is completely made from a scrap piece of sheet metal and re-bar tie wire. It's free spirited and nature inspired.

Metamorphesis
This 3D design project is completely made of wood. It kind of turned out to look like a science exhibit or a wrestling ring but oh well I like it.

Rough Weather?
This one is a mixed media artwork, that is charcoal and conte crayon on sandpaper. It has a real coat hanger, zipper and buttons incorporated into the work. It won fisrt place in the mixed media category at a local Fine Arts Festival in 2007. The drawing is not great but the texture is amazing.

My Daisy
This is a wire drawing of my dog named Daisy. This project was one that was painful. It took around 80 hours to complete. It's one of my favorite pieces to date. I eventually will go big with these wire projects. This one is is the same size as my dog. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Nude Female Sketch
This is a sketch that I did a few semesters ago during a figure drawing course it was actually an accident because the charcoal slipped out of my hand and slid down the sketch pad. So I just went with it.

Plaster Carving
This sculpture is one that I made after casting a block of plaster and cutting out a design on my scroll saw. It was pretty fun and I plan on making more pieces similar to this but on a much larger scale as this one is only about 12 inches tall and 2 inches thick.

Untitled
This piece is one that doesn't really have too much subject matter as you can tell. It is the first Photoshop CS3 work that I did. It was fun to make although a little creepy. I was just playing around to figure out some tools with the program.

Pics of Ian
This is two pictures of a fellow student that I manipulated to create a cubist inspired piece. This is the second picture that I have worked on in Photoshop CS3. I am not very gifted when it comes to computer art but I am learning everyday. I soon hope (like with drawing, painting, sculpture, etc...) that I will be hit with new idea's and actually be able to apply the concepts to the computer as finished works of art. I just need to learn some more skills and practice them.
